![]() Predictably, this results in there being quite a lot of hazards, monsters and murderous competitors along the way. Further bolstering this rumor, anyone who seeks the Nuclear Throne would be stalked by semi-sentient portals that shunt them closer and closer to the abode of the Throne. The rumor is that anyone who controls the throne controls the fate of the world – but there can be only one. However, there is a pervasive rumor about a chance at hope: the titular Nuclear Throne. ![]() Life is understandably harsh and short for anyone, including the mutants.
